Royal Doulton The Mendicant, Moroccan figurine of a man wearing a turban and playing a tamburine. High glazed, finely modeled bone china with exquisite colors. One of designer, Leslie Harradine finest Royal Doulton firgurines, "The Mendicant" (1929-1969). A smiling, humble, bearded gentleman, sometimes referred to as "the Beggar" seated with tambourine. This particular logo was used between 1901-1922 and 1928-1936. Hallmark H.N. 1365, 639, 2. Made in England, by Royal Doulton England. Royal Doulton, H.N. 1365, finely painted porcelain figure of "The Mendicant", collectable, high gloss finish, marked on the bottom. Number # H. N. 1365. Limited edition # 6 Designed by Lesley Harradine, circa 1939.
