A superb late 19th-century Anglo-Indian cabinet, exquisitely hand-carved in richly toned hardwood and inspired by Mughal design traditions. This striking piece is profusely decorated with dense floral and foliate motifs, interspersed with sculptural elephant figures and mythical heads, showcasing the extraordinary craftsmanship of Indian artisans.

The cabinet is surmounted by an arched pediment and fitted with double doors featuring intricate open fretwork carving.
