Large vintage original tribal Moroccan white and silver wedding Berber women shawl, blanket. The Zaiane ethnic shawls incorporate quantities of sequins in their design to achieve an impressive decorative effect on the alternate stripes of wool and cotton yarn. This Berber white shawls are used by the women on their wedding day as they go away with their husband on the horse. Size: 50.5" x 72". Great to use as a throw on a sofa or bed. North Africa collectible tribal textiles. Handwoven in Morocco, circa 1950s.
