Orientalist engraving after Horace Vernet, wood frame, Empire period Orientalist engraving depicting Rebecca at the Fountain giving a drink to a bedouin, early 19th century. After the original painting of Horace Vernet (made in 1835 and now lost). Beautiful, very decorative Moorish style Orientalist scene, the subject is rare and exotic. It is in the original antique framed condition. Measures: Height: 24" Width: 19.25" Circa 1920-1930.
