11960s Moroccan Berber Tribal Runner Rug in Saffron Orange and Red. A striking vintage Moroccan Berber tribal runner, handwoven in Morocco circa 1960. This one-of-a-kind North African rug features an expressive geometric composition of stepped diamonds, lozenges, chevrons and small repeating tribal motifs in warm saffron orange, terracotta red, golden yellow and ivory. Made from wool and cotton using traditional Berber weaving techniques, the rug displays the subtle irregularities and tonal variations characteristic of authentic handmade Moroccan textiles.
