Scandinavian teak wall valet by Adam Hoff and Poul Østergaard.

Made of teak wood with natural leather straps and dark green formica back. Excellent condition.
Dimensions: Closed depth 2.55 in. (6.5 cm), width 21.85 in. (55.5 cm), height 10.82 inches (27.5 cm), Adam Hoff (1932) was trained as a cabinet maker at Normina of Frederiksberg.
Poul Østergaard (1933-2010) was also educated at the Kunsthåndværkerskolen.
Before he was appointed as professor at the Arhus School of Architecture in 1968, Østergaard worked together with Hoff on furniture designs for a number of years.
Their models were executed by Virum Mobelsnedkeri and were admitted to the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition (Snedkerlaugets Møbeludstilling) for several years.
This beautifully detailed coat rack, which was introduced at the 1963 edition of this prestigious show, is without a doubt their best-known work.
