Gastone Rinaldi chrome and beige leather armchairs, set of four. Gastone Rinaldi for RIMA, circa 1970s, he designed a number of metal chairs for RIMA, the company his father had established in 1916.
Gastone Rinaldi was an architect and designer from Padua, Italy.
Gastone Rinaldi founded Thema.
In 1978 he gets a Compasso d'Oro for the armchair Arianna and, in 1981, a 'one for the folding chair Daphne, his latest masterpiece.
The Thema will close in 1989.
Gastone Rinaldi died in Padua 2 March 2006.
