Vintage Moroccan Tribal Kilim Rug
Moroccan Zemmour rugs are flat woven by the Berber women leaving near Khemisset, Zaiane and Azrou.
This flat weaves, Kilim rugs are often used a wall covering or blankets but also as floor covering, they are light and finely woven from organic cotton and wool. The traditional designs feature deep cherry reds, olive green, black and white stripes and diamond rows. This rugs were hand-woven by the Berber women of Zemmour for their own used and you can see that they are finely woven.
